Employee Master​

How to open it: Employees β€Ί Employee master

Everyone who works at your stores. The list shows each person's store, name, gender, phone number, salary, address, whether they show in billing, whether their login is active, and whether they're active.

Adding an employee​

  1. Click Create New Employee.
  2. Fill in:

  1. Click Save.

To change details, click on a value in the list, edit it and Save changes. When someone leaves, untick Is Active rather than deleting them, so their past sales stay in your reports.

Adding many employees at once​

Click Bulk Import, then Download Template, fill in one row per employee, and upload the Excel file.


Rights (logins and permissions)​

Click Rights on an employee to decide what they can log in to and what they're allowed to do.

Logins​

Login ID / Password (web)Their login for this ERP website. The Login ID can only have letters and numbers; your business name is added after an @ automatically. Once saved, the Login ID can't be changed. The password must be at least 6 characters

What they can do at the billing counter​

Other settings​

Export owner-only reportsLet them download reports that are normally only for the owner, such as your full customer list. Only tick this if you fully trust them with your data

What they can see​

  • Pages – tick the ERP pages they may open. Anything unticked shows "You are not authorized to access this page".
  • Mobile Pages – pages they may open in the mobile app.
  • Stores – which stores' data they may see.
  • POS pages – which screens they may use at the billing counter (needs SimplePOS 1.36.7 or later).

Click Save.

πŸ’‘ Give each person only what they need. A stylist rarely needs Profit and Loss; a store manager probably does.

Set each person's regular In Time, Out Time and Leave Day Of Week. Click a value, change it, and Save changes.

These timings are used in your attendance reports to compare when people were expected with when they actually checked in and out.
