Inventory Transfer

Have too much of a product in one branch and not enough in another? Inventory Transfer lets you move stock between your stores, with a proper challan and a record of what arrived.

Inventory Transfer Out To Store​

This page lists your transfers, and it's where you start a new one.

Sending stock to another store​

  1. Click New Transfer.
  2. Choose the From Store (sending) and the To Store (receiving).
  3. Add a Remark if you like — for example "Weekend top-up".
  4. In the product list, you'll see how much of each product the sending store has (Store Quantity). Enter how many of each you want to send.
  5. Click Save.

The stock leaves the sending store straight away.

When the stock arrives​

The receiving store acknowledges the transfer, confirming how many pieces actually arrived. Until then, the stock is "on the way".

Cancelling a transfer​

Made a mistake? You can deactivate a transfer, but only before the receiving store has acknowledged it.

How to open it: Inventory › Inventory Transfer › Inventory Transfer Summary

Every product that has moved between your stores, in one list:

  • the store it came from, the transfer date and challan number,
  • the product, its category, barcode and HSN code,
  • its purchase cost and sales cost,
  • the transferred quantity, the store it went to, the received date and received quantity,
  • the difference between sent and received, with any remarks from both sides.

💡 Filter the Difference Quantity column to quickly spot transfers where something went missing on the way.
