Item Based Range Discount

Reward customers for buying more — for example "Buy 2–4 shampoos, get 10% off; buy 5 or more, get 20% off". The billing counter applies the right discount automatically based on the quantity.

How to open it: Marketing › Offers › Item Based Range Discount

Setting up a range discount​

  1. Click New.
  2. Choose the Item.
  3. Enter the Quantity From and Quantity To for this range.
  4. Enter the Discount Percentage or a Cash Discount.
  5. Tick Allow Extra Discount if the cashier may give an additional discount on top.
  6. Click Save changes.

Add another row for the same item to create the next range (for example 5 to 100).

⚠️ Make sure your ranges don't overlap — if they do, only the first matching range is used. The item must also be active in the store.

Click Store Details on a row to choose which stores offer that discount.

Setting up many offers at once​

Click Bulk Import:

  1. Click Download Items to get your item list in Excel.
  2. Fill in the ranges and discounts.
  3. Tick the stores where the offer should apply (Select Stores Eligible For Offer).
  4. Upload the file and click Save and Upload.

⚠️ Range discounts need an up-to-date billing counter (POS version 2.0.523 or later). If yours is older, contact Invoay Support to update it.
