Bill Editing
Mistakes happen at a busy counter — the wrong staff member picked, the wrong quantity, the customer paid by card but it was marked as cash. Bill Editing lets you fix a bill after it has been made, so your reports and staff incentives stay correct.

🔒 Because this changes your sales records, it's a good idea to give access to this page only to owners and trusted managers. You can do this for each staff member under Employees › Employee master › Rights — see Rights (logins and permissions).
Finding the bill
- Choose the Store.
- Type the bill number.
- Click Search.
The bill opens in three parts.
1. Bill Details
The main information on the bill: the store, the staff member who made the bill, the date and time, and the Customer.
To change the customer, search for them by name or phone number. If the customer isn't in your list yet, click New Customer to add them straight away.
2. Bill Particulars
Every service and product on the bill.
| Column | What you can do |
|---|---|
| Item | The service or product |
| Employee | Change which staff member did it — this updates their sales and incentive |
| Rate | The item's price (for information only) |
| Quantity | Change how many |
| Charged Cost | Change the amount charged |
| Total Cost | Worked out for you |
3. Bill Payment Types
How the customer paid.
| Column | What you can do |
|---|---|
| Payment Type | Change the payment method, for example from Cash to UPI |
| Amount | Change how much was paid that way |
| Extra Details | Any reference, like a card or transaction number |
Click on a value to change it, then click Save changes under that table.
💡 If you change the item amounts, remember to check that the payments still add up to the new bill total.
