Category Master

Categories are like folders for your services and products — Hair, Skin, Nails, Retail Products and so on. They keep your billing screen tidy and make your reports easier to read.

  3. Type the Category Name.
  4. Tick Visible in Online Store if it should appear in your online store.
  5. 🔑 If you have the Order Management feature, you'll also see Visible in Order Management — tick it to show the category there.

Adding a sub-category

Click Add New › New Sub Category, pick the Parent Category, type the name and click Save.

Editing, images and stores

On each row of the list you can:

  • Edit – rename it or switch it off (untick Is Active).
  • Set Image (Mini E-Commerce) – add a picture shown in your online store.
  • Store Details – choose which of your stores use this category.

Changes are sent to your billing counters automatically the next time they sync.

Expense Categories

The kinds of expenses you record — rent, electricity, tea and snacks, repairs and so on. You'll pick one of these every time you record an expense, so your expense reports are neatly grouped.
