Customer Registration Sources

When a new customer walks in, it's really useful to know how they found you: walk-in, Instagram, Google, a friend's referral, a flyer? Registration sources are the list of options your cashier picks from when adding a new customer. Over time you'll see which kinds of marketing actually bring people through the door.

How to open it: Master › Customer Registration Sources

Adding a source​

  1. Click New.
  2. Type the Name, for example Instagram or Walk-in.
  3. Save.

Stopping a source​

Untick Is Active. It won't be offered for new customers any more, but customers already tagged with it keep it.

⚠️ This needs SimplePOS version 1.9.3 or later, or Invoay POS 2.0.563 or later, on your billing counter.
