Appointments
👤 For: Front-desk staff, receptionists and store managers
The Appointment tab is your booking diary. See who's coming in, book new visits, move them around, and turn a finished appointment into a bill with one tap.
🔓 Optional feature: Appointments If you have the Appointments feature, you'll see the Appointment tab. Ask your admin to turn ON
IsAppointmentEnabled(under Appointment Settings) in the back office settings. If the setting is not available, please contact Invoay Support.

① Views. Switch between:
- Day (timeline): one column per staff member, or per room. Best for a busy salon floor.
- Schedule: a simple list of upcoming appointments.
- Week and Month: the bigger picture.
Tap the date to jump to another day.
② Staff (or rooms) across the top (Day view). ③ Status bar. Colour-coded status buttons, each with a count for today, plus handy tools (see below). ④ ➕ Add. Book a new appointment.
What the colours mean
| Colour | Status | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| 🔵 Cyan | Confirmed | Booked and confirmed |
| 🟣 Purple | Online Booking | Booked online, waiting for you to Accept |
| 🟢 Green | Arrived | The customer is here |
| 🟤 Brown | Job Card Issued | A job card (work slip) has been printed |
| 🟠 Orange | Attended | Done and billed |
| ⚪ Grey | Deleted | Cancelled |
💡 Tip: Tap a status in the bottom bar to show only those appointments, for example just today's Arrived customers. Tap it again to show everything.
Tools in the bottom bar
| Button | What it does |
|---|---|
| 🔄 next to Online Booking | Checks for new online bookings. |
| 🔃 Refresh | Downloads the latest appointments, including ones made on other counters or in the back office. |
| 👥 Visible employees | Choose which staff members appear on the calendar. Handy if some staff don't take appointments. |
| ⚙️ Calendar settings | Change the Time Interval (how many minutes each row is), the Visible Employee Count (how many staff columns fit on screen), and the Resource option: show columns by Employees or by Rooms. |
Your calendar settings are saved to your login, so each staff member can set it up the way they like.
🔓 Optional feature: Luzo bookings If your store takes bookings through the Luzo app, a Luzo button appears in the bottom bar, with a count of today's Luzo bookings. Tap it to see them all, including the customer, slot time and Luzo price, and tap one to open it. To connect Luzo, please contact Invoay Support.
