Pair your card machine (WorldLine or Razorpay editions)
👤 For: Store owners using Simple POS on a WorldLine or Razorpay card payment machine
🏷️ Applies to: Only the WorldLine and Razorpay editions of Simple POS, which run directly on a card payment machine. If you use Simple POS on a regular computer, tablet or phone, you can skip this page.
When Simple POS runs on a card machine, the app and the machine need to be "paired" during setup, so that card payments go to the right account. Don't worry, it happens mostly on its own.
Before you begin
- Complete Steps 1–5 of Activate Simple POS on a new device, up to choosing your store location.
- Make sure the card machine is charged and connected to the internet.
WorldLine edition
- On the Terminal screen, tap the terminal that matches this card machine.
- You'll see Processing… WL Config while Simple POS checks the machine.
- If everything matches, you'll see WorldLine Config Successful. with a green tick. 🎉
- Continue with the Configuration screen as usual (Step 7 of the activation guide).
If you see "Terminal Id Mismatch."
This means the card machine in your hand isn't the one linked to the terminal you tapped. The message shows two numbers:
- ERP Terminal Id: the machine your account expects for this terminal.
- Device Terminal Id: the machine you're actually holding.
What to do:
- Go back and check you picked the right terminal. Each machine has its own terminal.
- If the numbers still don't match, contact Invoay Support with both numbers, and we'll link the correct machine for you.
- Once it's sorted, tap Retry.
ℹ️ Note: Simple POS double-checks the card machine each time a staff member logs in. If the machine is ever swapped, you'll see WorldLine Config Failed on the login screen, along with both numbers. Contact Invoay Support to update it.
Razorpay edition
- On the Terminal screen, tap the terminal that matches this card machine.
- You'll see Getting… RazorPay Config while Simple POS fetches your payment settings.
- When it's done, you'll see RazorPay Config Successful. with a green tick. 🎉
- Continue with the Configuration screen as usual (Step 7 of the activation guide).
If you see RazorPay Config Failed., check the internet connection and try again. If it keeps failing, contact Invoay Support.
Good to know
- No printer setup needed. On both editions, receipts are automatically set up for the card machine's built-in 2‑inch printer.
