Check your stock
👤 For: Store managers, stock keepers and cashiers
Open Current Stock
- Open the Inventory tab.
- Tap Current Stock.
You'll see four tabs, each with a count:
| Tab | Shows |
|---|---|
| Stock all over (Including 0 and negative) | Every product |
| Current Stock (greater than 0) | Products you have in stock |
| Negative Stock (less than equal to 0) | Products sold more than your records show you had. Usually this means stock hasn't been entered yet. |
| Zero Stock | Products that have run out |
💡 Tip: Check Zero Stock and Negative Stock regularly. They tell you what to reorder, and where your stock records need updating.
Two ways to view
Tap the view button at the top to switch between:
- Table view: columns for Item Name, Barcode, SKU, Category, Sub Category, Cost, MRP, Min Qty and Quantity. Tap a column heading to sort, or use its filter.
- Grid view: an easy-to-scan card for each product. Tap a card to see all its details, including photos.
Negative quantities are shown in red. To spot low stock, compare Quantity with Min Qty, which is the reorder level set in the back office. You can also sort by Quantity.
Find a product
- Tap the 🔍 search icon.
- Type the product's name or barcode, or tap the scanner icon to scan its barcode with the camera.
Stock totals
At the top of the list, you'll see a summary: Total Items, Total Quantity, Total Cost and Total Retail (MRP).
Tap Include Negative / Exclude Negative to choose whether products with negative stock count towards these totals.
- Exclude Negative (Positive Only Mode): totals count only the stock you actually have.
- Include Negative (Net Mode): totals subtract negative quantities, too.
Selling products that are out of stock
