Log in to Simple POS

👤 For: Cashiers, stylists, managers and anyone who uses Simple POS

Every staff member has their own login. This keeps each person's bills, sales and commissions under their own name. This page shows you how to log in.

Before you begin​

  • Simple POS must already be activated on this device. If it isn't, see Activate Simple POS.
  • You'll need your staff login ID (usually your email) and password. Your manager or admin can give you these.

⚠️ Important: Your staff login is not the same as the Chain Owner login used during setup.

What's at the top of the login screen​

Your store name and branch appear at the top, so you can be sure you're on the right counter. On the right, you'll find a few handy buttons:

🔄 SyncDownloads the latest products, prices, staff and settings. Use it if something was just changed in the back office and you don't see it yet.

🔓 Optional feature: Support button The 🎧 Support button appears only if it's turned on for your store. Ask your admin to turn OFF IsHelpButtonHidden in the back office settings. If the setting is not available, please contact Invoay Support.

How to log in​

Your login screen looks one of two ways, depending on how your store is set up.

Option A: Tap your name from the staff list​

🔓 Optional feature: Show staff list on login screen You'll see this style only if it's turned on for your store. Ask your admin to turn ON AllowAllEmployeeListInSimplePOS in the back office settings. If the setting is not available, please contact Invoay Support.

This style is great for busy counters where staff swap often.

  1. Find your name in the list and tap it.
  2. Your login ID is filled in for you. Type your Employee Password.
  3. Tap Log In.

On this screen, you'll also see two extra buttons at the top: 🏢 Domain and 💾 Backup. You won't need these day to day. Only use them if Invoay Support asks you to.

Option B: Type your email and password​

This is the standard login screen.

  1. In Employee Email, type your login ID. ① Shortcut: tap the small ▾ arrow to pick from people who recently logged in on this counter. The last person's ID is often filled in already.
  2. Type your Employee Password.
  3. Tap Log In, or press Enter on the keyboard.

② On touchscreen counters, you can use the on-screen keyboard at the bottom. ③ The Version number is useful if you ever need to talk to Invoay Support.

What happens next​

  • First login of the day? You'll be asked to open the till and check yesterday's cash. See Open the till for the day.
  • Otherwise, you go straight to the Billing screen and you're ready to go! 🎉

🔓 Optional feature: Date check at login If your store has the past date alert or future date alert turned on, Simple POS checks that this device's date is correct when you log in. If it's wrong, you'll see a Warning asking you to fix the date. This protects your reports from mix-ups. Ask your admin to turn ON IsPastDateAlertEnabled and/or IsFutureDateAlertEnabled in the back office settings. If the settings are not available, please contact Invoay Support.

Pro tips​

💡 Can't remember your password? Ask your manager or admin to reset it from the back office.

💡 Just changed something in the back office? Tap 🔄 Sync on the login screen to bring the change onto this counter straight away.
