Keep your data up to date

Simple POS keeps your counter and your Invoay back office in sync automatically. These tools in Settings → General let you refresh things by hand, which is useful when something looks out of date.
Sync Service
| Tool | When to use it |
|---|---|
| Download Sync Data | You've just changed products, prices, staff or settings in the back office and want them on this counter now. It's the same as the 🔄 Sync button on the login screen. |
| Share logs with support team | Only when Invoay Support asks you to. It sends information that helps them look into a problem. (Main counter only.) |
| Storage CleanUp | Frees up space on this device by clearing records older than 30 days from local storage. They stay safe in your back office. (Only if turned on for your store.) |
| Bill Upload Sync. | Sends any bills still waiting to go to the back office. You'll see Syncing bills, then Syncing bills Success. Use it if bills aren't showing in the back office. |

Danger zone ⚠️
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
| Clear Bill Caches. | Clears the bills stored on this device. You can choose Download Todays Bills after cache clear? to bring today's bills back straight away. Only use this if Invoay Support asks you to. |
⚠️ Important: Before using anything in the Danger zone, make sure all bills have been sent to the back office. Check that everything shows a ✅ green tick when you log out.
App Version and updates
App Version shows which version of Simple POS you're using. Tap it to open Updates, where you can check for and download the latest version.
Simple POS also checks for updates on its own. When one is ready, you'll see "Update is ready to be installed. Please restart app to update." Just close and reopen Simple POS when you have a quiet moment.
💡 Tip: Keep all your counters on the same version. If an extra counter falls behind the main counter, it will ask you to Update App.
